S-: Light snow
S+: moderate to heavy snow
S: moderate snow
ZR: Freezing Rain
IP: Icy Precipitation
RH: Heavy Rain
R-: Light Rain
R: Moderate Rain
R+: Moderate to heavy rain
SH: Heavy Snow
Not sure what ZL and T stand for! :)

In the end, it appears this mornings forecast holds mostly true! We may have to bring the ice accumulations down a bit! Over the winter storm warning 1/4 to 3/4 inch with 2 inches of snow, and 1/4 inch in the southern advisory, but 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ice in southern Indiana advisory areas! This is why!



There's not as much precip as before but that area in Missouri may fill in because it's a direct route to the Gulf of Mexico. Notice the heavy snow over southern Illinois heading right for us! Stay tuned to the blog...
