WInter Storm Alert

A lot of things to get to today. Warnings, advisories, and how much snow are we going to get anyway?


Here is the last time i will show the HPC chance of 4 inches of snow map! From now on, I'm taking it local!

Here are the warnings and advisories for the area!

The winter storm warning for Crawford, Dubois, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Lawrence, Orange, Scott, and Washington counties in southern Indiana is in effect from 7pm Thursday until 1pm Friday!

This includes Jasper, Bedford, Paoli, Salem, Pekin, English, Hanover and North Vernon!

What to expect for the winter storm warning:

- In Lawrence, Jackson, and Jennings counties, expect 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch of ice with a topping of 2-4 inches of snow.

- For the rest of the Winter Storm Warning area, expect 1/2 to 1 inch of ice accumulation, with a possible of up to 1 1/2 inch ice accumulation, topped off with 1-3 inches of snow.

Winter Weather Advisory for Clark, Floyd, Harrison and Perry counties, in Southern Indiana, from 7pm Thursday until 1 pm Friday.

What to expect in the southern Indiana winter weather advisory:

- 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch of ice accumulation, with possibly a 1 inch ice accumulation in the northern parts of these counties, topped off by 1-2 inches of snow, possibly 3 inches in the northern parts of these counties.

Winter Weather Advisory for Breckenridge, Jefferson, Meade, Oldham, and Trimble counties from 7pm Thursday until 1pm Friday.

What to expect:

1/4-1/2 inch of ice, with 1 inch of snow topping it off!

If the track moves just 10 miles, all that I just said will be knocked off track, so definitely stay tuned!
