As promised, I now bring you Marc Weinberg's winter prediction:
"I think we must look to the prevailing long wave pattern to determine what to expect. There has been a prevailing east coast trough with ridging in the west. In my opinion, the oceanic heat currents will not change or be strong enough to alter that. To me that would be a near or slightly below normal winter on the temperature front and near normal to slightly below normal in precip."
