Active weather period upcoming...
Tomorrow night, we will see some rain and maybe some rumbles of thunder...lasting into Tuesday morning. We could see 1/2" of rain from this system.
There will be another better chance of storms Wednesday. The SPC indicates that some of the storms could be severe with damaging winds. Whatever the case, Wednesday will be a warm, windy, rainy day. There will be a cooldown after this into the weekend.
My thoughts on the potential for severe...Dew points will not be high enough and instability will be limited. Thus, damaging winds would be the main threat, not tornadoes.
