Friday, October 17, 2008: 8pm

A nice streak of fall like weather ahead...

After a potential sprinkle this evening, things will clear out for a cool but beautiful mid August weekend. Temps tomorrow will be between 60-63, with highs Sunday topping out in the middle 60s. The dry weather will continue through at least Tuesday, with highs Monday and Tuesday in the upper 60s.

Wednesday and Thursday could bring another cooldown with it. A slow moving front is forecast to drag through the area, bringing about another chance of light rain. Highs will be in the lower 60s on these two days.

Friday will hold clearing skies, but highs will only reach the mid to upper 50s!!!

Again, I must mention the possibility for some rural areas to pick up a minor frost on Sunday morning as some places reach the upper 30s...

Tomorrow is college football Saturday!!! Local games of note include Louisville at home against MTSU at 3:30pm on WHAS-11. Kentucky will host Arkansas at 7pm on ESPNU. Indiana will play on the road at Illinois at 8pm on Big Ten Network. Purdue will be on the road at Northwestern at noon on the Big Ten Network. Head over to ESPN (sidebar) for all you need in college football...
