An exciting night of high school football in Indiana last night...

Jeffersonville (5-5) defeated Jennings Co. 41-9, and Floyd Central (6-4) beat Bedford-NL 23-14. They will play each other at Floyd Central next Friday at 7pm. New Albany will also play in that same sectional at 8pm at Castle.

In 4A: Madison and Jasper both won last night by convincing margins. Next week, Madison (2-8) will host undefeated Columbus East, while Jasper (9-1) will host undefeated Evansville Reitz.

In 3A: Charlestown beat North Harrison 33-15. Charlestown (7-3) will go on the road to Heritage Hills (6-3), who beat Salem last night.

In 2A: EHS, Clarksville, Providence, and Tell City's seasons all ended last night. Paoli (9-1) managed to win, and will play Mitchell (2-8) next week.

In A: West Washington beat Union 40-20, and Perry Central blanked Wood Memorial 45-0. Perry Central (10-0) will host N. Daviess next week, with West Washington (6-4) on the road at Linston-Stockton (10-0).

Today's college football games: Kentucky will play on the road at #6 Florida at 12:30pm (on WAVE-3). Louisville will play at home vs. #13 South Florida at 3:30pm (WHAS-11). Indiana will play at home against Northwestern at 12pm (Big Ten Network), Notre Dame will play on the road at winless Washington at 8pm (ESPN2), and Purdue will host Minnesota at noon (ESPN Classic).

Key NFL games tomorrow will have San Diego vs. New Orleans in London, England (1pm, CBS), Atlanta on the road at Philadelphia (1pm, FOX), Tampa Bay at Dallas (1pm, FOX), and the biggest game at 4:15pm, facing the New York Giants at the Pittsburgh Steelers (FOX). The winless Cincinnati Bengals play at home against Houston (1pm, CBS), and the Indianapolis Colts play at Tennessee Monday night (8:30pm, ESPN).
