Nice cool weather to persist a while longer...

After a great day today, tomorrow will be cooler! The passage of a cool front will keep highs from reaching past 60 degrees tomorrow. It will also be breezy tomorrow, so temps will feel colder than 60.

It will remain dry for Wednesday, with a potential light frost in the morning. Some places may be in the middle 30s, but a light breeze should keep a moderate to hard frost from occurring. Highs Wednesday will be in the lower 60s.

Then the rain will come! Thursday will be cloudy with a chance of light rain in the afternoon. Temps will hold in the upper 50s to near 60. Then, Thursday night-Saturday morning, a slow moving system will meander through the area. This will cause off and on rain. According to the HPC, our area should expect anywhere from 1.25-2" of rain (map above). This rain will hold temps over this period in the middle 50s for highs.

After this ends, our temps will remain fairly steady. Sunday-Monday will be dry with temps in the mid to upper 50s.

I will note that Accuweather has us in the lower to mid 50s all next week, and thus frost and freeze opportunities...stay tuned...
