Interesting forecast for the next 7 days...
The first system arriving here tomorrow will bring us RAIN, no snow accumulation. We could see around 1/4" of rain with this system. Rain looks to move in just before sunrise tomorrow.
Now we will get into the real meat of this forecast. Monday night will bring another clipper system. For now, I think that we could begin as rain for a brief period of time, but I think that we will see snow for the most part on Monday night-Tuesday morning. We could see a light accumulation, but as always, I won't call specific amounts right now.
After a lull on Tuesday, which could hold some flurries, another system will move towards the area. This storm looks to be the strongest of all of them, with arctic air moving in behind it. Depending on the track, it appears that we could receive some decent snow amounts. With the cold air in place, it would most likely be a light fluffy snow, which would provide more accumulation...stay tuned...
After this system exists, prepare for a FRIGID period of weather. If we have a snow cover, I am sure that temperatures will be below 0 for morning lows. Even without snow cover, we will see single digits for lows and teens for highs. Wednesday night-Thursday morning could be particularly hazardous because of windy conditions. We could have wind chills as low as 10 or 20 degrees below zero!
