Saturday, September 13, 2008: 7pm

Hurricane Ike hit Galveston, TX, at 2:10am CDT this morning. Here is just one of the many pictures of devastated Houston.

Our weather will take an interesting turn tomorrow after a very hut and humid day today. A wind advisory is in effect for tomorrow from 10am to 8pm. Sustained winds of 30mph are expected, with gusts to 45-50mph.

Tomorrow, some rain will hit our are tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night. Some 1-2 inch totals are possible depending on the track of Ike. If Ike comes into southern Indiana, isolated tornadoes are likely to occur over our area. The SPC has us in a 5% chance of tornadoes tomorrow...

Meanwhile, Monday-the Ryder Cup will be nice...all next week, highs will be in the 75-80 degree range, with lows in the 50s...
