I will keep our forecast the same as I had for yesterday: dry through Wednesday with highs in the low to mid 80s.

There is a slight chance of rain next Thursday-Friday with the uncertainty of Hurricane Ike. Temps should remain steady and Saturday should clear out from any rain we may have. Temps will remain in the low 80s during this period.

Hurricane Ike is now a Category 4 with winds of 135mph. It is expected to hit Cuba as a Category 4 with winds of 145mph. Then it will head into the Gulf with Category 3 strength.

Again, I must tell you that the NHC is WRONG with the track of Ike, because 9 times out of 10, it will go over water instead of straight across Cuba. So, I think it will hit Cuba and go out the south and through the Yucatan Channel.
