STORM ALERT: 12:30PM

We remain in the 5% tornado threat for this afternoon...

...and the 5% damaging wind threat for this afternoon. Some of the winds are complimented by the strom winds outside of the storms...

This from the SPC:
INTERMITTENT WIND DAMAGE/DOWNED TREES HAVE BEEN REPORTED WITH MEASURED GUSTS IN EXCESS
OF 50 KT ALONG PORTION OF COLD FRONT EXTENDING JUST SOUTH OF THE
CENTER INVOF MAXIMA IN PRESSURE RISES...AND THIS TREND WILL LIKELY
CONTINUE FOR MUCH OF THE DAY FROM THE OH RIVER VALLEY INTO
SRN-CENTRAL IND/WRN OH. SHOULD INSTABILITY BECOME SUFFICIENT FOR
NARROW LINE OR LINES OF MOIST CONVECTION...WIND DAMAGE/TORNADO
POTENTIAL WOULD INCREASE AS OBSERVED VWP/S AND MODEL FORECAST
SOUNDINGS INDICATE 40-60 KT SFC-1 KM SHEAR ACROSS THIS REGION.
