Quickly, here are the tracks of T.S. Hanna and Ike (both with 65mph winds).

T.S. Hanna is expected to hit South Carolina with 90mph winds (category 1 hurricane) on Friday.

On the other hand, T.S. Ike is forecast to head towards Cuba on Sunday with 110mph winds. Where it goes from there is definitely anyone's guess.

There is also T.S. Josephine, but it is far from any major land areas at this time.

Gustav caused some overflow into New Orleans, but major flooding was not a problem. For more on all of these storms, use the link to the NHC, and for Gustav use the link to the HPC and SPC. All of these are on the side of the blog...

Our weather is not nearly as exciting, as the next 2 days will be hot and dry. Temps will be in the lower 90s with bearable humidity.

Friday and Saturday seem to be our only chance of rain from Gustav. Some isolated showers/storms may make it to our area, but it appears the best rains will stay to the west. Temps will remain in the upper 80s through this period.

Sunday-Tuesday look to be dry at this time, with cooler but still dry temperatures in the middle 80s.
